2017-11-07, Part 1: Reading at the academy gate before class while a long roll of white paper collects the footprints of
teachers and classmates (30 min).
2017-11-08, Part 2: The paper is printed with Mao’s essay “Against Liberalism,” again gathering the traces (30 min).
2017-11-09, Part 3: Repeating the word “freedom” as the paper prints the socialist core values, caging the word “自由,”
letting people walk across (30 min).
2017-11-10, Part 4: Displaying the three footprint-covered scrolls at the gate, wrapping myself in red cloth and reading
from the Little Red Book (30 min).
